About Saunas

sauna

What is a sauna?

A sauna is a "steam bath" which originated in Finland, and it is a health practice where you sweat in a heated room and refresh your body and mind.
In general, a sauna consists of a sauna stove that maintains a high temperature (80℃ ~ 100℃) and wooden benches around it.
By promoting sweating in a hot environment, your body releases waste and can improve blood circulation and metabolism.
Nowadays, people enjoy saunas around the world not only as a warm bath method, but also as one of the best ways to relax.

What is “Totonou”?

You can experience “Totonou” by doing outdoor air bathing and resting your body and mind after warming your body and sweating enough in a sauna, and repeating this process.
Through this process, your blood vessels repeatedly expand and constrict. Eventually, it warms your body from the core and gives you a sharpened refreshing feeling and a sense of deep relaxation.
Enjoy this extraordinary sensation to the fullest.

Benefit・Effect

Alternating hot and cold baths of sauna helps balance the autonomic nervous system and promotes stress relief.
Additionally, improved blood circulation offers a detoxification effect and boosts metabolism, which helps you make a healthier body. (Effects may vary depending on the person.)
Deeply refresh your body and mind and experience the effects that will improve your condition.
